Are you affiliated with the BVNPT, NCSBN, or Pearson VUE?
No. This is independent coaching, not an official program of any testing or licensing body.
Do you guarantee I'll pass?
No, and you should run from any coach who does. What I guarantee is a real diagnosis of your weak spots, a plan built for you, and honest feedback every session.
Can anyone sign up?
Yes. Graduates, non-graduates, Method 3 candidates, first-time and repeat test-takers, from any school. The one exception: if you are a current or former student of the VN program I lead, graduated or not, I can't coach you for pay. That would be a conflict.
Where do we meet?
Video call (Google Meet). Evenings and weekends, Pacific time.
I'm not in California. Can you still coach me?
Yes. The NCLEX-PN is the same national exam everywhere, so coaching works wherever you test and however you became eligible: a practical nursing program, California's Method 3, a military medic or corpsman pathway, or a practical nursing equivalency route. Each state's board sets its own eligibility rules, so confirm your route with your board; I'll get you ready for the exam itself.
One honest note for California equivalency (Method 3) candidates: a license earned that way may not be accepted by other states. If you plan to work outside California, check with that state's board of nursing before you plan around it.
I was in an RN program, or didn't pass the NCLEX-RN. Can you help me take the NCLEX-PN?
Yes. Some states let RN students or RN candidates sit for the NCLEX-PN through an equivalency route. The PN exam thinks differently from the RN exam: the right answer stays inside PN scope, and that trips up RN-trained test-takers. That's exactly what we'd work on.
What if I need to reschedule?
Give me 24 hours' notice and we'll find a new time, once per package. Missed sessions without notice count as used.
Can I check your license?
Yes. Search my name on the California DCA License Search. It's the official state record.
